AutoDo is an Android automation application built by Beethoven Hrangkhawl. This policy explains how we handle your information and the sensitive permissions required for the app’s functionality.

Information We Collect AutoDo is designed with a “local-first” privacy model. • Optional Account Data: If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect your email address and user ID. This is used solely to manage and restore your Pro subscription across different devices. • Automation Data: All profiles, triggers, and actions you create are stored exclusively in a local database on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Sensitive Permissions & Data Usage AutoDo requires several sensitive permissions to function as a device automation tool. We only access this data when a user-defined trigger or action requires it. • Location (Foreground & Background): AutoDo collects location data to enable automation triggers based on entering or exiting a geographic area (Geofencing), even when the app is closed or not in use. This data is processed locally on-device and is never shared or stored on our servers. • Accessibility Service: AutoDo uses the AccessibilityServices API to programmatically toggle system settings (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Mobile Data) by interacting with the Quick Settings panel on your behalf. It does not read, record, or transmit any screen content, keystrokes, or personal information. • SMS (SEND_SMS): Used only to send automated text messages that you have explicitly configured as an “Action.” We do not read your private messages. • Call Logs & Phone State: Used to detect incoming calls to trigger automation rules (e.g., “Mute phone when Boss calls”). This data is read locally and never transmitted. • Query All Packages: Used to provide a list of installed apps so you can select which application to launch as part of an automation rule. • Contacts & Calendar: Used to allow you to select a contact for SMS actions or to trigger rules based on calendar events. This data remains on your device. • Usage Stats: Used to detect when a specific app is launched to trigger associated automation rules.
Third-Party Services We use trusted third-party providers that may collect data according to their own policies: • Google AdMob: Displays ads to free users. AdMob may use device identifiers for ad personalization. (Pro users see no ads). • Google Play Billing: Processes secure in-app purchases. • Google Sign-In: Authenticates your account for subscription management.
Data Storage & Security All automation profiles are stored using Android’s secure Room database and DataStore on your device. Because we do not use a cloud backend for your rules, your data is as secure as your physical device.
Data Deletion • Local Data: You can delete all automation data by clearing the app cache or uninstalling the app. • Account Data: To request the deletion of your Google Sign-In association or any account-related information, please email us at the address below. We will process your request within 30 days.
Children’s Privacy AutoDo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy We may update this policy to reflect changes in app functionality or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent changes.
